The new site is up and running, but I am still bug-checking and adding data..
The radios pictured on this page come from the Spring-Summer 1950 catalog. The 1949 lineup was also carried over, but I am still lacking information to know which models were carried over for sure. It appears that the 4-A-78/79 was a new entry for Spring-Summer 1950, as was the Spectator portable.
A mid-ranged console from 1949, apparently carried over to 1950. Note that the ad has no specific model number and is simply advertising any radio-phono (though the 4-A-62 is pictured).
Listed as brand new in the Spring/Summer 1950 catalog, so perhaps a mid-season introduction. The Empire came in two colors, 4-A-78 for brown bakelite, 4-A-79 for white bakelite. A rather interesting, cute radio.
